McGill half nuts are manufactured to be within excellent tolerances. These are commonly used for motorsport when securing rod ends to link bars. As the nut is half the thickness, it allows for maximum adjustment.
Ideal for securing linkage bars in place on the rod end to prevent rotation of the bar.
As the nuts are half the thickness of standard nuts, a finer adjustment can be made as the rod end can be screwed further into the link bar.
