Extenders for EL Wire or EL Tape
Help get the glow to your costume or EL project exactly how you want with our new selection of extender wires:
* Whether you want the pocket sized 50cm Extender
* Maybe you just want a traditional 1.2 metre Extender
* Or perhaps you are going to need a 3 metre Extender
* No job is too big for the mighty 5 metre Extender
Don't forget you can join extenders together to form even longer Extenders!
But I wouldn't recommend that, if you are serious about doing a lot of extending then just buy a 50cm Extender (or even cheaper, a 2 Way Splitter at just £1.25) so you have the EL connectors for each end.
You then can buy your own wire to do the extending.
It is a 24 Gauge or 0.5mm wire and sometimes called 'bell wire'
These Extenders have standard connectors that allows you to clip it into a Driver/Inverter or Splitter so you don't have to waste any EL Wire running beneath the garment and make the best use of your EL Wire, El Tapes or EL Panels.
We also have a range of EL Splitters available. As well as the standard ones, there are speciality EL Splitters with Extenders built in:
2SL = A 2 Way Splitter that starts with 10cm of wire then splits to one short (10cm) and one long (50cm).
2L = A 2 Way Splitter - all Long (70cm)
3SML = A 3 Way Splitter that starts with 10cm of wire then splits to:
One short (10cm), one medium (20cm) and one long (50cm)
3SLL = A 3 Way Splitter that starts with 20cm of wire then splits to:
One short (10cm) and two long (50cm)
3L = A 3 Way Splitter - All Long (70cm)

EL wire has loads of uses
It looks amazing when decorating the interior or exterior of cars, can be used inside and outside houses and can even be threaded into clothes and hats.
