German WW2 A Frame Combat Assault Pack M1931 / M31 / M.31
WWII German M.31 Canvas and leather A-Frame to carry. This was developed at the same time as the Y belt with support straps. The assault pack was used to carry basic gear during combat operations while leaving the heavier Rucksack behind. It was smaller and could be easily discarded easily if needed.
