| Vintage Pretty Petticoat- Here we have a gorgeous vintage petticoat, Made in ENGLAND by Martin Emprex brand new from old store stock. Circa 1970's Colours available are - White with pink ribbon White with Blue ribbon It has an elasticated waist,2 gorgeous rows of pretty white lace,one approx 3/4 of the length down and the other at the hem. There is also a band of ribbon set inside a figure of 8 lace pattern(see pics) Made from a poly/cotton mix it has a nice crisp clean feel. The size is stated as 12-14 ,but please bear in mind that this is a vintage item and a 12-14 in the 70's was only 24-26" waist...(Where as now a 12-14 is more like 28-30") I have measured to give a clearer idea- Waist measures upto 28" most comfortably. Hips 38" most comfortably. length from waist to hem is 30". This is a new unworn,quality garment that would make a great addition to any vintage wardrobe/costume,could be perfect for under a period wedding dress also.
