This 7 x 11" photo been produced from my original old negatives of Meade View Company postcards, a company that sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns and views in the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like, only better, since we cleaned up the negative, sharpened the image, and printed it with glossy format on quality photo paper. Please note that the photo is printed from a .tif file, much sharper than .jpg or .gif file.

This view is of the Breakwater (or is it Break Water) Court grand hotel in Kennebunkport, Maine, in the 1930's. This hotel is now called the Colony. You can also see the Nonantum Resort and the Kennebunk River Club on the far left. Excellent condition, sharp and clear, perfect for framing!
