This is a US Army Aviation Center shoulder patch. It has merrowed edge with cotton back, no plastic coating. The Aviation Center and School is at Fort Rucker, Alabama. This is where all US Army Helicopter Pilots are trained.
This color patch is now obsolete. It was once worn on the Army green dress uniform which has been phased out.
