Here is something you don't see very often. It is a William Adams & Sons Old English Rural Scenes bowl with color. Bowl measures 7 3/4" diameter. It is free of chips. Crazing is present but difficult to see without a loupe. There are two tight hairline cracks as shown. In Godden's book on English pottery marks this particular cartouche is not shown but it does state that this type was used from 1819-1864 but on the Lovers of Blue & White website I found one example of this pattern with color (6" plate) that states ca1926
