However Shakespeare's rod engineers have managed to exceed expectations again with this new exceptional series of Agility 2 fly rods. Significant improvements include increased blank performance and rod spec combined with stunning new cosmetics. Utilizing a higher grade 36/40 ton carbon produces blanks that are both slimmer and lighter and the actions have been refined to reflect modern trends in faster actions.

XPS stands for extra power special and as the name suggests these rods are designed with a fast and powerful blank action required when casting heavy lines and big flies.
This power is also essential when targeting hard fighting predators and is suitable for both pike and saltwater fly fishing
