The Velbon CX-300 is a basic aluminum tripod ideal for use with compact 35mm cameras and video camcorders. It has a sure-grip handle for easy control, and a 2-way panhead designed for tilts and pans. The camera platform has a retracting camcorder alignment pin, but is not detachable. The center column slides up and down for quick height adjustments, and the legs have side-lever locks for fast setup and maximum stability.

The Velbon CX-300 is a basic aluminum tripod that's ideal for use with compact 35mm cameras and video camcorders. The CX-300 is distinguished by such features as a two-way pan head for tilts and pans, a sure-grip handle that delivers easy control, and a camera platform with a retracting camcorder alignment pin (the platform is not detachable, however). The tripod's center column, meanwhile, slides up and down for quick height adjustments, while the slide-lever locks on the legs deliver maximum stability. The legs are also rubber tipped and include leg braces for durability. Other details include an adjustment range of 19.8 to 57.1 inches, a folded length of 21.2 inches, and the ability to support up to 3.3 pounds.
