Size and fitting
My exhibit is all the Japanese market model.
For the JAPAN/Asia market and for the US/EU market is a little different from the shape of the interior.
Although there is both an ellipse, for the Asia market is close to a circle. For the EU market is long in the front and rear. But the difference is slight.

I sold a lot helmet to US/EU. Look at my the feedback! 
There is no claim that it does not fit. 

If you are worried about fitting, please order one size larger.
It is easy to tighten loose size.
Arai has an interior kit for adjustment.
Or use a commercially available sponge tape.
