What is a grey-reducing shampoo?
We have incorporated a unique, patented grey-reducing complex that will gradually reduce the amount of grey in your hair every time you shampoo. In addition, this product is a gentle cleansing and moisturizing shampoo that will clean and condition your hair every time you use it.

 

How does it work?
Control GX contains uniquely formulated grey-reducing molecules. Every time you shampoo it gradually reduces the amount of grey. In this shampoo, the grey reducing molecules are encapsulated and protected inside the cleansing & conditioning part of the formula—think of it as a sandwich. When you start massaging the shampoo in your hair the sandwich structure breaks and releases the small grey reducing complex, and combined with the oxygen in the air it then forms larger grey reducing molecules that get trapped in the grey hair. With each shampoo, a bit more gets trapped, reducing grey little by little. With regular use, there will be no telltale line of demarcation when the grey roots grow in, as can occur with traditional hair colour.

 

Is this product suitable for all hair shades?
Control GX is best for all shades from light brown to black hair. Results may vary on natural blonde or red hair.

 

What kind of results will I get?

How do I maintain my results?
Once you’ve achieved your desired results, the reduction in grey will be maintained as long as you keep using the product on a regular basis. This is not a temporary product that washes out quickly, but one that gives you a great long lasting look. If you do stop using Control GX, you’ll slowly lose your great new look due to natural regrowth of the hair, and the effects of everyday activities. But maintaining is easy – just use it a few times a week.

 

What is the difference between the regular Shampoo and the 2-in-1 Shampoo Conditioner? Both formulas contain gentle cleansers and effective conditioning agents to cleanse, nourish and revitalize hair. The 2-in-1 formula contains extra silicone and polymeric conditioning agents to impart easier combing, softness and manageability to hair for guys who want some extra conditioning but don’t want to use a separate conditioner.

 

How many uses can I expect from one package?
For most guys, Control GX lasts about 6 weeks (assuming you will use Control GX about 3-4 times a week to maintain your look) — similar to a typical bottle of shampoo.

 

Does this product contain hair dye?
Yes. Control GX contains a patented complex that is a unique blend of air-activated molecules that are deposited inside the hair every time you shampoo. No, Control GX was designed and tested to be used once daily.

 

How will Control GX affect my hair?

No. You can perm or relax the hair when using Control GX.

 

What happens if I leave Control GX in my hair longer for the recommended 1-2 minutes?

The colour may get slightly darker.

 

Can Control GX be used on facial hair?
No. Control GX was designed and tested for use on head hair.

 

Will the Control GX in my hair be negatively impacted if I go swimming?
Any hair colour can lighten from exposure to chlorine water. The color from Control GX can also lighten from chlorine water. We suggest another application of the Control GX to help with the colour.

 

Is there any chance the dye from Control GX will run in the rain?
Control GX will not run in the rain. Make sure you rinse the shampoo thoroughly out of the hair.

 

Can Control GX be used on body hair (chest, pubic)?
No. Control GX was designed and tested for use on head hair.

 

Can I shampoo and repeat immediately?
No. Control GX was designed and tested to be used once daily. The usage instructions do not recommend a repeat application.

 

Can I speed up the colour results?

Shaving will not interfere with or affect the colour results from Control GX. Bar soap is a more harsh soap for the hair and it is best to use a regular shampoo or Control GX Shampoo.
