Dirty Plotte #6 by Julie Doucet (Drawn & Quarterly, 1993), 24 pages, B&W

Issue six of the legendary comic from one of the great artists of the 1990s, who long ago quit comics and has focused on other forms, such as collage.

Lightly browning pages, tiny wearing on the corners, and a musty "old book" smell.

I'm selling my humongous book collection, acquired over the course of 25+ years. Many of the books were reviewed in the first two books I wrote, Outposts and Psychotropedia, which were guides to unusual, alternative, subversive, independent, and just plain interesting reading material. Many minds were blown, and those two books became cult classics.

But I've collected a lot of other books, magazines, and printed matter since then, and I'll be offering most of it on eBay, so keep checking back. I'll have lots of edgy art and fiction, erotica, comics and graphic novels, hidden history, alternative health, radical politics, weird science, religion and spirituality, zines, newsletters, ephemera, plus some shockingly mainstream stuff (fantasy novels, classic poetry...).

Lots of books from great, sadly defunct publishers like Gates of Heck, Masquerade, Juno, Hanuman, Loompanics, Grove, Thunder's Mouth, III, etc., plus cool publishers that are still going strong, including Last Gasp, Feral House, Taschen, powerHouse, Seven Stories, Disnfo....
