Vintage USSR Soviet Russian beech wood abacus small
Abacus in the XX century is often used in stores, in accounting for arithmetic calculations. With the development of the progress they were replaced by electronic calculators.
Large size for the intended use, for collection or as educational toys for children.
The frame is made of wood, bone, plastic, red and white .
It has two support legs.
Condition-looks unused,only stored,firm,heavy,thick sticks, nice form and warm color beads with smooth surface,factory stamped.

One iron bar in the abacus, which is just 4 knuckles, used for calculations in the mite.
1 mite is equal to half of the money, that is a quarter of a penny, respectively, four knuckles were a penny.
Nowadays, this rod separates the integer part of the number dialed in the accounts of the decimal, and calculations used.
