The item has a polished blade with a fantastic finish. The handle is hand carved Mother of Pearl in a unique design and is in pristine condition for the age.

 The ferrule is fully hallmarked with the letter b for 2001 along with the Lion, .925 mark, Yorkshire Rose and the Makers mark which is YB - the makers mark for the very famous (Yates Brothers). The item is in fantastic condition as the photos reflect! The Letter opener is 20.5 cm in length and weighs 49 grammes.
