These are tall, classy beautiful flowers. Delphiniums are sturdy, long-lived and disease resistant. These are long lasting flowers that bloom the first year and grow to 4 feet tall. Often in hardy zones will bloom June and July and once in fall also. Self sows for years and likes half a day of shade in hotter zones. These seeds can be started indoors in winter and transplanted outdoors in the spring or they can be sown directly into the ground in spring, summer or fall.
