This is a set of six new original style Schrader bright nickle plated brass tire valve stem caps.  They were used on all Ford vehicles +_ 1940 through 1962 (except for 1957 Thunderbird which used a one-year-only valve stem with no cap).  Starting in 1963 Ford switched to Dill brand black plastic valve stem caps.  These caps are stamped with "Schrader" and a 5 point star on the bottem of the skirt.  These Schrader caps are OEM (original equipment manufacturer).  They are 100% correct for AACA (Antique Auto Club of America) National judging.  They are made by the Schrader company in the USA.  Inside the top of the cap is a rubber seal that keeps air in your tire if the valve stem core leaks.   The point on the top of the cap can be used for releasing air from your tire if necessary.  The caps are knurled for a good grip.  Most people today have never even seen these high quality tire valve stem caps.  In "the day" everybody and their brother used this cap.....even Schwinn bicycles.   These caps will be another item to make your fine Ford look just like it did the day when it rolled out of the factory.  Set of five caps for $9.50 plus $3.50 shipping.  Get as many sets as you like for just one  $3.50 shipping charge.  Please visit my store to check out my other cool car stuff.  Free shipping on these caps with any other purchase.    Bruce in Joliet, Illinois.
