For QUICK Acceleration 16/42t gear ratio (QUICKER off the line, roll on's, wheelies), 
        Request a 16t (-1t) Front Sprocket  Rear Sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab
          Your highway speed rpm's will be slightly higher than orig. and terminal top speed will be slightly less.


For Freeway Gearing, Faster 18/42t gear ratio (higher top speed, lower freeway rpm's),
       Request a 18t (+1t) Sprocket  rear sprocket 
during check out in the "Add Message" tab
 .
       
Your highway speed rpm's will be lower than orig. and terminal top speed will be higher.


Original Factory Supplied OEM size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's,
      and reasonable high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration
      Exact oem 17/42t may be back ordered at this time, but we have 17/42t in stock which is slightly quicker than exact oem.
      Near Exact OEM 17/42t is the DEFAULT for this listing that will be sent unless otherwise specified.


* A 1 tooth change in the front is a more noticeable change because it is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear..
  A 1 tooth change in the rear only is a very mild ratio change.

EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)
EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)

    Half the Power Loss (Compared with Normal O-Ring  X-Ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed. Normal O-Rings and other makers’ modified O-Rings have squashed points that increase friction. The twisting action of the X-Ring disperses the pressure and minimizes power loss.

    1.5 to 2 TImes Longer Wear Resistance (Compared with Normal O-Ring) The X-Ring’s four contact points greatly increase its sealing performance. This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-Ring.

    X-Rings have the greatest wear resistance of any other type of O-Ring or Non-O-Ring chain
