.NOTE: This is a premium strength 530 size kit conversion far exceeding original equipment 525 strength and longevity.

This 530 size is OEM on CBR1000rr, GSXR1000, R-1's , R-6's, and most CBR600's up to 1999.

Weight is less than +2 lbs heavier, but well worth it for the longer lifespan and reduced need of frequent adjustment

and replacement as with the narrower standard 525 sizes.

 

Chain & sprockets are sent OEM size with Gold JT chain with a RIVET type master link unless otherwise specified (CLIP Type is NOT available)

For Reference;
2001-2006 HONDA CBR600F4i OEM size is 525x108 x-ring chain, 16t Ft. Sprocket, 46t Rear Sprocket
 
The Supplied "Modified OEM" gearing 530x15/43t (-1t/-3t) is the exact equivalent ratio to F4i OEM factory equip. 525x16/46t gear ratio.


For QUICKER gear ratio (off the line, roll on's, wheelies), use orig 525 sizes. n/a in 530 sizes conv.


For  FREEWAY GEARING  FASTER TOP SPEED, and  LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's, request a 16t front sprocket during checkout in "ADD Message" tab.
    Your initial off the line acceleration will be slightly slower than original, your highway rpm's will be lower, and faster top speed.


Original Factory Supplied OEM RATIO size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration.  This is the DEFAULT for this listing.


Teeth and Sizes Explained...
** A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket change.
 
** A -2t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +6t rear sprocket change (Very Extreme change)
 
** A -1t front and +2t rear combination is EXACTLY the same as a +5t rear only change with stock front sprocket.
 
** A 520 size chain is approx. 2mm narrower than a 525 chain, and 4mm narrower than a 530 chain. Less mass equals lighter weight equals easier to spin,
   but the ratio (teeth size) change makes the big difference. The sprocket width matches the chain width where it rides on the sprockets,
   therefore a 520 chain must use 520 sprockets, and a 525 chain must use 525 sprockets, etc...
 
** RPE Motorcycle has chain and sprocket conversion kits available in 520 , 525 , and 530 sizes for most motorcycles.
 
** A larger rear sprocket number of teeth size requires a longer chain, however +1 or -1 tooth on the front sprocket only will use the same chain length
 
** A ratio change to make your bike QUICKER on the low end will make it SLOWER on top end. Stock is EXACTLY in the middle

    Half the Power Loss (Compared with Normal O-Ring)  X-Ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed.
