Dark Silver/BLK X-Ring Chain is available by request.

(NOTE; This kit is NOT for 2006-2014 newer model R6 or '94/07 YZF600r Thundercat)
For QUICK ACCELERATION 15/49t gear ratio (quicker off the line, quicker mid-range roll on's, easier wheelies), use a 15t (-1t) Front Sprocket and a 49t (+1t) Rear Sprocket.

This is a versatile change because it fits with the same chain length as a stock 16t, so if you want to change back to stock gearing you will always have this option.
For FREEWAY GEARING 16/45t FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's,
Use a 16t (oem) front sprocket and a 45t (-3t) rear sprocket.
Request Freeway Ratio 16/45t in the "Add Message" tab during checkout.
For EXACT OEM RATIO 16/48t Request Exact OEM 16/48t in the "Add Message" tab during checkout.
Best "All around" gearing with the least compromise on low end or top end acceleration, with reasonable high speed rpm's. (The OEM 48t size MAY be back ordered, message us for current availability)
Teeth and Sizes Explained...
** A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket change. (Quick Accel)
** A +t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as -3t rear sprocket change (Freeway Ratio)
** A -1t front and +1t rear combination is EXACTLY the same as a +4t rear only change with stock front sprocket. (Extreme QA)
** A 520 size chain is approx. 2mm narrower than a 525 chain, and 4mm narrower than a 530 chain. Less mass equals
lighter weight equals easier to spin, but the ratio (teeth size) change makes the big difference. The sprocket width matches
the chain width where it rides on the sprockets, thus a 520 chain must use 520 sprockets, and a 525 chain must use 525 sprockets, etc...
** RPE Motorcycle has chain and sprocket conversion kits available in 520 , 525 , and 530 sizes for most motorcycles.
** A larger rear sprocket number of teeth size requires a longer chain, however +1 or -1 tooth on the front sprocket only will use the same chain length
** A ratio change to improve low end will have an adverse effect on top end, and vise-versa
** Exact OEM factory calculated stock ratio is the "Happy Medium" of low end and top end with the least amount of compromise. "Best all around gearing"
