2015-2020 Honda VFR800 X-F,G,H,J,K Crossrunner OEM size is 530x110 x-ring chain, 16t Ft. Sprocket, 43t Rear Sprocket  **DEFAULT**


For QUICKER gear ratio (off the line, roll on's, wheelies), use a 44t rear sprocke and 112L chain.

   Your highway speed rpm's will  be slightly higher than orig. and terminal top speed will be slightly less.

For  FASTER TOP SPEED, and  LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's, use a 17t front sprocket.

    the +1t front sprocket change does not require a different chain length,  orig. chain length is still used with 17t sprocket

    Your initial off the line acceleration will be slower, highway rpm's lower, and faster top speed than oem gearing

Original Factory Supplied OEM size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration


* A 1 tooth change in the front is a more noticeable change because it is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear..

EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)

EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)


JT Ft. Sprocket also available in 530 x 16t, 17t, and 18  teeth
