Step 1  The first thing you have to do is to download the iTracing app. You can do this by searching “iTracing” in the Google Play store or the Apple Store and then downloading the app. 

Step 2 Turn on the iTag by holding the button for three seconds, when it beeps twice the iTag is activated. Then turn on the bluetooth on your device. 

Step 3 Open the iTracing app and the iTag device will automatically appear in your device list and you can connect the device with your phone by selecting the “Connect”  button. If it does not appear automatically then select the “search” button and it will find all the iTag devices near you and you can connect your device with them. If the iTag device does not appear in your list even if you search for it then try activating it again by following the Step 2 and then searching for the device again.Notes: 
    a)You can also remove an iTag device from you device list by swiping it to the left and then selecting the red “delete” button that appears. 
    b) If you have more than one iTag devices then you can select the “arrow” button (on the iTag device on your device list) and you can rename it accordingly or you can select the “anti lost” option and you can select the volume of the alert, the ringtone of the alert and if you would like your iTag to have light while it is on the alert mode.  

Step 4 – LocationTurn on the location on your device (you can do that from your device’s settings). Go back to the iTracing app and select location from the bottom line (third button). Once the map appears press the button on the iTag once and the map will zoom in to your current location on the map. Press the button on the iTag again to save the location on your “locate list”.Note: You can use the locate list if you for example want to find where you have parked your car exactly.This can also help you find where you have left your belongings. If you tap on the lost history it will show all the places the iTag device lost connection with your phone or tablet and the last location is the one where you left your belongings. If you select the last location a pin drop will appear on the map to show you the exact location.Note: You can also remove a location from you lost history by swiping it to the left and then selecting the red “delete” button that appears.

Step 5 – AlertThe iTag device cannot only help you find the iTag and therefore your belongings through your phone but you can also find your phone through the iTag device.a) To locate your belongings and the iTag device through your phone: Go to the device list on the iTracing app and select the “alert” button on the device you want to search for. To stop the alert select the “stop alert” button on the device from the device list on the app.b) To locate your phone through the iTag device: Double press the button on your iTag tracker and an alarm will automatically start on your phone so that you can hear it from where you have left it. To stop the alert click on the red/yellow flashing button that will appear on your device list.c) It is important to note that an alarm will go off on both your iTag device and your phone or tablet if the devices disconnect (if the connection is lost) to inform you that you have left either your belongings or your phone there.

Step 6 – Photograph shutterLast but not least you can use the iTag device as a photograph shutter. Select the Photograph from the bottom line (second button from the left). You can adjust the settings of your camera by selecting the “flash” button to the top left corner to adjust the flash settings, you can also select whether you want the back or the front-facing camera by selecting the button on the top right corner and you can select the “settings” button on the bottom right corner to set a timer etc. Press the button on the iTag device to take the photo.

Step 7 To turn off the iTag device hold the button for three seconds a, when you hear a long beep sound the device is deactivated.** It is important to note that for the iTag device to be able to function the bluetooth on your device should be on at all time (only when you want te devices to be able to connect and alert each other) and the iTracing app should be open in the background of your phone. The bluetooth connection that the device uses is a low energy consumption one so you do not need to worry about that! **
