9 years after the release of the original Portraits of American Bikers: Life in the 1960s (2008) by Beverly V.
Roberts, another brand new release! The 6th book published by Roberts, this hardcover collector edition
features more photographs from the private photo collection of Jim "Flash 1%er" Miteff. The beautiful black
and chrome cover opens to more than 260 pages of full page large format photographs that are vivid and
life-like. These stark black & white photos have been scanned from the original 4" x 5" Kodak film negatives.
In addition to the original photographs from the Portraits series, images of vintage and antique bikes and a
variety of portraits of motorcycle riders make up this new book, photographs from some of the biker lifestyle
of the 1960s.  In addition, Beverly shares her personal story about what's behind these photographs and
what it was like growing up around motorcycle clubs of Detroit. "Flash" Miteff passed away in December of 1999.
