This listing is for a variety of reproduction replacement parts for the Dinky 351 UFO SHADO interceptor. They are available in one of 3 finishes (Plain, Polished or Painted). The painted finish on the pilot is matched, as close as possible, to the colour of the original item. All the parts are now manufactured in Pewter except for the Bell Thruster/Exhaust Pipe which is manufactured in white metal.

Please note: The scale of the part is approximate and relates to the model it is listed as fitting. The pewter and white metal used in the manufacture of these parts is not as strong as the metal used to make the originals. Therefore, whilst completing the appearance of the model, the moving parts will not withstand the rigours of normal play for which the originals were designed. However, they are fully functional and will cope with occasional use when demonstrating the operation of the model.

However, I cannot guarantee that the metal does not contain trace elements of lead. Therefore, inhalation or ingestion of fumes or dust particles originating from the pewter used in the castings could be be harmful to health. If carrying out any procedure on the metal that is likely to cause exposure to fumes or dust particles, suitable gloves, mask and eye protection should be worn and the area ventilated adequately. Do not eat, drink or smoke when handling the alloy and ensure that hands are washed thoroughly afterwards.
