Listed for sale is a very special piece. It is an early Prototype for an Eames CTW / CTM - like coffee table, which uses the manufactured CTW / CTM top, along with a welded base similar to the Eiffel tower chairs.

This table comes from the household of a former Herman Miller employee.
The table top was made using the same mold as a CTW or CTM and shares identical dimensions (do note the comparison photo)
The table top uses correct veneers and wear is period correct.
The base is unconventional, but similar prototypes have been sold, which use this same type of base design.
Exact year of production is not known.
This exact table was featured in an article on Herman Miller's website called "The Other Herman Miller."
