This is a second edition in average condition.  It was published by Hodder & Stoughton Ltd.  There is no publication date inside - but the inscription is dated 1925.  The 'true' first edition was printed in 1916, and only had 15 illustrations - the extra illustration was included in the later printing.

There is one illustration missing - page 152 - Urashima Taro.

'There are 15 fairy tales and 15 colour illustrations (one is missing).'

This is a 2nd Edition.

Condition:

Book - Average - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners, edges and covers, a slight spine lean, opens v.easily to several pages, marking, fading and discolouration to the covers, some marking and foxing to the page edges and several pages, some darkening to the top page edges, soft even tanning to the pages and there is an inscription to a previous owner inside (written in pencil) and a v.small bookseller's label.  One illustration is missing.
