ANTIQUE 9CT GOLD VICTORIAN ROSE CUT DIAMOND, RUBY & PEARL LIZARD BAR BROOCH'

For your consideration, this beautiful rare and possibly unique Victorian Lizard bar brooch.
Encrusted with 27 old Rose cut Diamonds from head to toe and Ruby set eyes, this Silver lizard winds its way round the 9ct Gold pin which is topped with what is assumed to be, due to the beautiful elegant shape, a natural deep sea Pearl.
The attention to detail is inspiring with detailing around the face and two small Diamonds mounted on each limb, one being on the foot and the very tip of the tail containing five in total.
Measures 53mm in total length. Diamonds measure 2.5mm accross on the head, a row of 2mm along the back with smaller stones on tail and legs.
A truly fine and exquisite piece of antique jewellery.
Comes with a lovely silk lined period presentation box as shown.
