Technos Pioneer 1960's Vintage mens watch - Excellent condition.
From my personal collection - This vintage Technos Pioneer watch is in excellent condition - and I really mean that! The chrome plated case is gleaming, only slightly marred by a couple of tiny usage marks on the bottom edge, only visible on very close inspection. The black bordered crystal is perfect, no scratches at all. The metallic ruby red dial is spotless, and highlighted with gold hands and batons. The case back does show very light scratches from general wear. I did think about having them polished out, but was concerned about the chrome plating. The watch is powered by a Solvil & Titus ST96 17 jewelled manual wind movement which keeps excellent time.
A burgundy red lizard skin effect leather strap has been recently fitted and compliments the watch very well, it will fit a 19cm wrist.
The watch is presented in a new red velveteen and satin box as per the photos.
As with all my watches, I have probably opened the case to clean/service or repair/replace a part, or photograph the movement, or fit a new battery. Therefore I cannot myself, offer any guarantee of water resistance, even if there is a rating stated on the watch. So please do not try to hold me to it!
