These are perhaps the best MTB shoes on the market - carbon soles are super-stiff, but have excellent tread for those times you need to put a foot down or scramble.  I'd really love to keep them, but unfortunately, I need a larger size.  These are size 48, equivalent to US13 (mens').  They have a roomy toe box and are not as narrow as some cycling shoe brands.  Fit is similar to other Specialized or Shimano XC shoes in size 48, and wider than Sidi or Giro shoes I've tried in standard widths.  They are still new, with tags, and includes the nylon storage bag they came with (but not the original box - sorry).
