Reid III Camera type II with original presentation box and Reid leather case all in excellent almost mint condition. The condition is rare and the box rarer still. The logo is made of beaten metal!

There is just one single blemish to the camera - a very slight indentation on top near the Reid logo. Shutter working - solid and usable but likely to be more suited to a collector given it's pristine condition.

One of 1600 made it has its spool and the finder and rangefinder patch are very clear. The type II has the flash sync.

Rare indeed to find with original box - quite frail but still smart and very useable. Ahead of it's time it folds open just like present day Leica boxes. The leather camera case is almost pristine and very shiny clearly much polished.

Note: there is also an spot of brassing or tiny area of cracked chrome to the countersinking of the tripod/wrist-strap socket on the base as shown in the pictures.

I also have the Taylor Hobson 50mm lens that came with the camera body. Also the Reid version of the Dallmayer Dalrac 135mm which was specially bodied by Reid to tally with the particularly accurate rangefinder mechanism for which the camera was famed. A nice set. All to be sold through ebay.
