This auction is for a wax head made at Kenner.  This is not an original sculpt and also not part of the regular production workflow. One of my tasks at Kenner was to try to improve the wax that was used by the Sculpting department for carving and casting. I had formulated more than a half dozen wax variations and one of the tests that each wax was subjected to was a casting trial.  I used existing rubber molds from recently completed sculpts to inject the test waxes. This head is one of those tests.  It has a lot of very small bubbles, but also some nice crisp detail.

I acquired this item when I worked at Kenner during 1983-85, it has have been in my possession since then, has never been sold, never been displayed, and is guaranteed to be genuine.
