This vintage program is in GOOD (moderate cover wear, see scan) condition.  This program is neatly scored in pen.. 


Item is from the game played on July 3rd, 1966, the first game of a double-header between the Boston Red Sox at the Chicago White Sox.  The Red Sox defeated the White Sox,  5-2.  Rollie Sheldon allowed just five hits and two runs over six innings for the win.  Don McMahon finished with three shutout inning for the save.  White Sox starter, Jack Lamabe pitched five shutout innings, but his relief help, Bob Locker gave up all five runs in the six inning for the loss.  Hitting stars were Jose Tartabull with two hits and Carl Yastrzemski with three hits.  Tommie Agee hit a two run homer for the White Sox' only runs.
