Elodea Oxygenator (Elodea Densa)

An extremely popular plant in cold water and tropical tanks as well as ponds.

The small deep green and semi-translucent leaves can give your aquarium a distinctive texture and is especially effective if planted using several bunches of 5-6 stems.

These make a stunning show planted towards the rear of the Aquarium and often hide unsightly equipment like filters and heaters.

It is also a well recognised plant for oxygenating ponds as well as aquariums.

This species grows quite rapidly and you can take cuttings off it and re-plant to make more plants for almost free.

Great in a cold water tank with an assortment of fantails and other orandas.

Often this plant is used in vegetarian eating tanks and with the right balance you can have a constant supply of vegetarian fish food.

We recommend washing all plants gently before use in your aquarium, especially in Shrimp or Snail Tanks.
This is to protect against the transporting spray often usedon plants before shipping.
This is safe for fish species but sometimes may harm shrimp species.
