Eighteen months have passed since Jack Bauer and CTU took down the Salazar drug cartel and defeated Stephen Saunder's biological weapons attacks on the United States. Jack's reward was to be fired by Erin Driscoll, the new head of CTU Los Angeles. As Day 4/Season 4 begins, Jack has rebuilt his life and is now employed as a special agent for Secretary of Defense James Heller.
