This bundle from Parrot pairs a red BeBop Drone 2 with 14 Megapixel Flight Camera with a Black Skycontroller. This combination extends the drone's controllable range up to 1.2 miles while adding the tactile feel of a traditional stick-based RC transmitter (radio controller). In addition, the Skycontroller integrates a holder for tablets up to 10.6" to provide a convenient FPV monitor.
The BeBop Drone 2 is a Wi-Fi-based, mobile device-operated RC quadcopter capable of capturing 1080p aerial video and taking 4096 x 3072 resolution still photos. Avoiding the added weight and power consumption of a motorized gimbal, the camera features an electronic image stabilization system that relies on a 3-axis motion sensor and a 180° fisheye lens from which it crops a Full HD image. Updates from the original BeBop include a lower camera angle for direct shots of the ground and a larger battery for up to 25 minutes flying time.
The BeBop Drone 2 is controlled from an Android or iOS mobile device running the FreeFlight 3 App (see Parrot website for latest list of supported devices). Devices with screens up to 10.6" can be mounted directly to the Skycontroller for FPV monitoring. In addition to letting you control the quadcopter, the app provides a real-time preview from the flight camera, and you can even record a low resolution feed directly on your device. For high-res recording you can use the 8GB of built-in memory.

The black Skycontroller from Parrot extends the BeBop Drone 2's Wi-Fi range up to 1.2 miles and features a hardware-based control pad. To maximize the first-person flying experience, the Skycontroller allows you to connect third-party FPV glasses, including the Zeiss Cinemizer, Epson Moverio, and Sony Personal Viewer. The system pairs with an iOS or Android tablet running the FreeFlight 3 app and adjusts to support tablets up to 10.6" in size.
Unlike the previous generation of Skycontrollers, the layout of this model's Emergency Landing and Camera Reset buttons have been interchanged to reduce accidental forced landings. Additionally, this Skycontroller is powered by the same 2700mAh battery as your Bebop Drone 2.
This Battery from Parrot is a replacement battery for your Bebop Drone 2 and its compatible Skycontroller. Like the batteries that came with your Bebop Drone 2 and Skycontroller, this is a 2700mAh rechargeable battery that provides up 25 minutes of flight time.
Note: This battery is designed for the Bebop 2 Drone and Limited Edition Black Skycontroller. It is not designed for first-generation Bebop Drones or Skycontrollers.
