This is a great lens! I've had it for 3-4 years and thoroughly enjoyed using it.  The build quality is great, and the fast 2.8 aperture really helps in low light environments - especially while using it on a full frame camera.  Like many lens of this type there is a focus motor noise but it is slight and in no way impacts the usability or quality of the images. Finally, the appearance of the lens is 1st class.  There are absolutely no dings or scratches.  It looks brand new!
