Fabulously shiny PVC raincoat/mac by US designer Jane Post

It’s got a detachable hood and fastens with 4 poppers up the front, plus 2 more if you want the collar fastened up.

Lined in an animal print, the pockets are lined too, (in black) the large hood is lined in the same red PVC as the outer coat, there’s white piping detail on the inside too

There’s a long pleat at the back and a short “dummy” belt, there are cuff loops which have the same large domed buttons as the belt and it has a spare button and popper 

The coat is quite heavy - just under a kilo and the red PVC is thick but soft and supple

A great statement piece, bought in the USA and never worn ☹

Measurements

Length from the collar seam at the back to the hem is 32” or 81.5cm

Side seam to side seam (bust) is 22” or 56cm (double this up of course)

Sleeve length from the shoulder is 24” or 61cms
