This strap is made of genuine polished shagreen leather in turquoise blue, very resistant, of undeniable, remarkable elegance.
Shagreen (1755 stingray, by Jean-Claude Galuchat, name of the inventor, died in 1774) is a cartilaginous fish leather (ray or shark) used for a long time in cabinet making, sheathing, and more recently in leather goods. Halfway between leather and mineral, shagreen is covered with silica pearls which are therefore difficult to tan. It has different aspects: grainy and shiny, or sanded: in this case, it is smooth and reveals a partitioned surface of small cells which are as many small rows of sparkling pearls.
It adapts to all types of watches with pump handles. Even a combination of high heat, humidity and perspiration has no effect on the elasticity and shape, as well as its suppleness and racy appearance of these stingray leather bracelets. In order to meet these requirements, the materials are carefully selected and are the subject of a perfect finish.

Note that this strap is 16 mm at the level of the lugs of the watch, and 14 mm at the level of its buckle.
Its length is designed for all types of wrist thanks to the adjustment of the pin with the holes in the leather. The part of the strap on the "holes" side is 10 cm long in total and the other part is 7 cm without the buckle, to find out if it will suit your wrist, you must compare these dimensions with the old strap or add the length of the watch to imagine it on your wrist.
