This is very important so that your tree can become acclimatised to it's new environment so when it is transplanted into a larger pot or in the ground it will do it's very best. * Please keep your tree in semi shade for the first 2-3 weeks and slowly bring it out into full sunlight to sun harden your tree. * When your tree arrives you can purchase some seaweed solution and some slow release fertiliser such as osmocote and use according to the specific directions. This will help feed the plant over the next 30 Days while it is still in the poly bag. *PLEASE DO NOT OVER FERTILISE YOUR TREE AS THIS WILL BURN THE ROOTS AND YOU RUN THE RISK OF THE TREE DYING.FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ON YOUR FERTILSER CAREFULLY. *We do advise to keep your tree in the bag for a little longer than 30 Days but after the 30 Days period when the tree is sun hardened and is used to it's new environment it can be planted directly into the ground or another pot

What is a Rollinia??The Rollinia fruit is a large round shape fruit, covered in pointy protuberant spikes that begin to turn yellow in color as the fruit ripens. Fruit tastes are sweet and pleasant; some compare its flavor to "lemon meringue pie." Fruits are highly unpreserved, begins to blacken slowly within the hours of harvesting. For this reasons it is not exported, and is only seen where the trees are grown and in the nearby countries. Comes from the Amazon area and it is a member of the Custard Apple family. How to use RolliniaThe Rollinia fruit is sometimes called the Amazon Custard Apple because it is very popular in Western Amazonia. The fruit is not especially sweet like a custard apple; however, it is tangy like the Soursop. It falls somewhere in between, is having a mild of sweetness with a hint of lemons. Its taste and slightly gluggy feel suggests its likeness to a delicious lemon meringue. - The fruit is eaten with other fresh fruits and it is fermented to make wine in Brazil.
- Rollinia fruit is usually consumed fresh, but it can also be used to make juices, milkshakes, ice cream and wine etc..,
- The wood of the tree is always in yellow color, hard, heavy, and strong and is used for ribs for canoes, boat masts, boards and boxes.
- The fruits are regarded as refrigerant, and its analeptic and antiscorbutic. The powdered seeds are said to be a remedy for enterocolitis.
