Book Condition Guide

Near Mint (NM)

Books in Near Mint condition show almost no signs of any wear and are almost indistinguishable from the factory. They might have slight imperfections, but are near mint condition.

Excellent (EXC)

Books in Excellent condition may have minor border or corner wear or even just slight scuffs or scratches. There are no major defects such as water damage, bends or issues with the structural integrity of the book. This range of book conditions will be in between Near Mint and Lightly Played.

Lightly Played (LP)

Books in Lightly Played Condition may have more border or corner wear than excellent condition, but may have minor creases in the book cover if a softcover. Noticeable imperfections are okay, but not to high or severe in volume.

Moderately Played (MP)

Books in Moderately Played condition exhibit condition issues visible at a casual glance. Books in this condition will have wear to the outside and inside of the book, but should still be readable.

Heavily Played (HP)

Books in Heavily Played condition are heavily worn at first glance, with possible defects to the binder or pages, stains, water damage, or other types of damage. This is the worst condition of books we offer.
