STOP do not press buy it now until you

have read the listing Completely.

411L is a Lithium replacement for the Carbon Zinc battery that was commonly used in AVO meters, Simpson 260, Triplett 625 and other vintage

electrical test equipment and some antique transistor radios.

Being Lithium, the 411L replacement will last longer than the original carbon zinc and 411A Alkaline clones.

It is widely used in vintage collectible transistor radios and in the early model 8 AVO meters, such as the Mk III AVO meter

THIS IS NOT AN OEM ORIGINAL FIT BATTERY. Look at the pictures carefully. You will have to

press this Battery into the battery compartment of the Simpson 260. These are Simpson VOM's

prior to Model 1 260 Simpson. They used Eveready 417 zinc carbon battery. No need to make

a battery converter to a smaller 15 volt Alkaline battery. May also fit Triplett: 625-NA Volt-Ohm-Milliammeter,

early model 8 AVO meters (M III). In fact. Nearly any gadget requiring a 15v up 220mAh portable power source

can use this. If it fits in the case.

You will have to solder two wires. If your original battery looks similar to the Eveready

zinc carbon photo. It will very likely fit into the Battery Compartment of your Meter Vom

even if it is not an Early Simpson 260. I only own a Vintage Simpson 260.

I manufacture this Battery. The red battery with wires is what you are buying.

The original is shown as comparison. It is NOT PLUG and PLAY !

Hi,

15 Volt fresh recent manufacture composite Lithium Battery.

A lithium battery store's much more energy versus an Alkaline.

There is no Relaxation effect with a Lithium Battery

"Due to the relaxation effect of an alkaline battery. You need to delay 10 seconds for the battery to stabilize. Then it is stable."

When in a rush. One might forget. The readings will then be inaccurate.

The manufacturer of the Lithium elements of this composite battery. "Panasonic" states 10 year shelf life.

With no risk of leakage like an alkaline.

Lithium by weight and volume holds a bigger charge than an alkaline battery.

Around Jan 5th. 18. Got around to stripping parts off several 1992-1993 Apple 186

computers. AC Fans standoffs etc. I checked the lithium batteries. They were

still holding a usable charge !!!! whoa !

This 15 volt lithium will be the last Battery you buy for your Meter.

It is going to outlive you. Unless you are a 20 something.

So I came up with this. Red "positive" from the battery. Is soldered

to the 15 Volt + terminal in the Battery compartment.

Negative black. Is soldered to the negative terminal in the 15v battery compartment.
.
Behind each battery post is a solder connection already. The leads on this battery are pre-tinned

for your convenience.

If you are using these Meters. I'm Assuming you know how to solder ?

Do not buy this if you think it is Plug & Play. Do not buy this if you

think it is something other than a 15 volt battery. DO NOT BUY

this if YOU think it is an OEM Fitment.

Yes I have to say this. Unfortunately. Been selling kits for awhile.

Every two months I still get amazed by another buyer.

You re-charge at your own risk. Not recommended. Shelf Life is at least 10 years.

This battery is sold as A single use battery. Improperly charging a Lithium Primary Battery

will result in KABOOM. Capish ?

My feeling is the current draw is not much on these meters.

The little fellow will last a very very long time.

19.95 15v Alkaline + shipping was not a

 viable option.

19.95 Free Ship Alkaline 15v ? Shoosh I paid $20.00 + 12.95

 shipping for the Meter !

You get

1 x 15v Lithium Composite battery with a red positive lead & black negative lead.

2 x piece of Velcro on Battery. You put the 2nd piece into the

battery compartment of your meter.

This battery fits almost like if it was the original 15v zinc carbon battery.

Using the supplied Velcro helps.

The + - leads are long enough.

I am not quit-ing my day job !

If it works for you this battery . Some positive feedback please.

THIS IS NOT AN OEM FIT BATTERY But works well for the money !

It can replace the fallowing OEM batteries.
