This is firmware update 1.02 and is the latest official released operation system by Roland. This operation system update/upgrade requires one eprom chips as revealed in the eBay article`s photos and the chips will be labeled to help you locate the correct chip socket. There are two options to check current OS.

1.   [6] and [Exit], while powering device.

2.   [Patch bank 2] and [Edit], while powering device.

If none of those combos are not working. Then you have to open your device and read off the label on the current eprom.

Features/improvements:

The OS v1.02 upgrade provides bug fixes related to midi communication, sysex and system code issues.

Note:
