  You are bidding on an custom built General Dynamics GD8000 military laptop, reconditioned and upgraded by an expert computer engineer.  The laptop is in good cosmetic condition. Its top cover has scratch. The system and all components are fully tested and guaranteed working, including the Touchscreen, Bluetooth, 20-Channel SiRFIII GPS, and Electroluminescent Backlit keyboard.

Other than it's fully rugged design, the GD8000 is known for it's DynaVue Outdoor Readable LCD Screen.  Even when compared to a Panasonic Toughbook, the screen is particularly easy to read in daylight.

We have configured this unit with a extremely rare OEM internal GPS.  The GPS works out of the box and does not require a service contract.  North America road and topographic maps come preloaded on the laptop with the included Delorme Software.  Marine Charts are also included for all US coastal waters and work with the included OpenCPN chart plotting software.
