This Conway Stewart 12 was manufactured around the later 1950's in England.
In near mint condition. The pen had been inked but has seen minimal use, superb surface condition
Light and dark blue marble with gold inclusions.
Slimmer pen that measures just over 5 1/8 inches.
Fully serviced / restored.
Nib. Correct nib marked in script - Conway Stewart - 14k Gold - 3N, round shaped breather. Writes a semi flex medium.
Barrel. No imprint not uncommon for Conway's to miss this process, Gold fill lever with Conway logo. Completely free of scratches, dents, dings or bite marks.
Cap. Single gold filled cap band, gold filled Conway logo clip with good tension. Everything in good order again completely free of scratches, dents, dings or bite marks. Topped off with a gold stud.
Restoration. The pen has been disassembled ultra sonically cleaned, all parts checked, reassembled with a new sac, hand polished and water tested.
Overall. This is a super conditioned Conway Stewart 12. use or place in a collection.
