Up for sale, a 2006 Gibson SG Standard '61 reissue electric guitar in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This reissue features a gloss Heritage Cherry nitro lacquer finish and a pair of stock '57 Classic PAF pickups. These pickups have great harmonic content and a rich, detailed tone that is dynamic and lively. At only 6lbs 9oz, this Gibson is very easy on the back too and an acoustically resonant instrument with a powerful unplugged voice that translates well through the humbuckers. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this SG has been freshly restrung with 10-46 strings and features low action and solid intonation.

The one-piece mahogany neck features a slender C shaped profile that has a fast and effortless feel. The rosewood fretboard features the original slender fretwire which shows virtually no wear with well rounded crowns. The nut measures 1 11/16" in width. On the headstock, the original Gibson Deluxe tuners are intact and hold pitch as they should.

All of the electronics work as intended, with original nickel covered '57 Classic PAF humbuckers and an untouched wiring harness. The Nashville Gibson bridge and nickel tailpiece are also present. In terms of cosmetic wear, this guitar shows light finish scratches on the back and scuffs in the pick path as well as a couple tiny patches screw holes on the top behind the bridge from a previously installed vibrato. Overall, this is a clean, original, and professionally setup SG!

A hardshell case is included.
