Shaft details

I shaft (Euroshaft) type shaft / spindle The hour and second hands are push-on hands, the minute hand is fitted with a small round nut. The I-shaft (Euroshaft) type shaft is defined as follows; hour hand shaft diameter: 5.0mm minute hand shaft: 3.5mm x 2.8mm, threaded for M3.5mm round nut.  :

Shaft length: Medium length, 16mm overall
The shaft length is the combined length of the mounting thread and hand shafts.

16mm: Thread length 9mm, suits clock face thicknesses up to 7mm. Includes minute hand fixing nut.

Fixing nut type
Mounting thread diameter: 7.5mm (standard thread).
We offer a choice in the type of fixing nut. The price is the same.

	Hex nut and washer includes rubber washer, and flat metal washer with brass fixing nut. The rubber washer is intended to sit behind the clock dial. The brass washer and nut is fitted at the front of the dial.
	Slotted round nut includes rubber washer with round brass fixing nut. The round nut doesn't need the metal washer and gives a smarter finish. It uses 1mm less of the threaded shaft so can be used for thicker dials. A deeper version is available which uses 2mm less of the threaded shaft. It needs a hole diameter of 10mm.

 

Hanger

A metal hanger is available which is placed on the movement before fitting it.
