Description: An Austrian gilded silver, glass, and cloisonné and plique-à-jour enamel vanity tray, Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna, circa 1900. The oval glass tray with a border of brightly colored trailing flowers in plique-à-jour above a band of colorful cloisonné scrolls, the two sections separated by a beaded row, raised on four bun feet, the underside engraved with a retailer's mark of Vienna jewelry and clock shop Franz Hiess & Söhne. 

Dimensions: 7 1/4 l x 5 3/4 w x 1 h in. (18.4 x 14.6 x 2.5 cm).

Condition: Excellent condition. Silver maintains even warm tone throughout. Enamel crisp and glossy; white pure. Plique-a-jour enamel details entirely intact and clear. Hallmark clearly visible.
