This nuts are made from solid 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum , machined with chamfered edges and then anodized for a brilliant finish.

The helical nurling keeps the wheel nuts in place by digging into the wheel (as a fishing hook, easy to tighten, difficult to loosen) keeping them from unscrewing and falling off.
