Our solid oak window board sills are made by our skilled joiners with over 35 years experience using the finest solid oak, ensuring high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.


We carefully select only the finest grade oak so that your window board is free from splits and dead knots, but include fine grain detail that you would expect from natural solid oak. We try and choose only the best oak we have to enhance the appearance and features of the wood, ensuring that you receive at least one good face so that the oak you see is stunning to look at.


Our oak window board sills come unfinished meaning being sanded smooth. This means you are able to treat the wood with your own oil or varnish, or if you prefer are able to choose from Osmo oil option for us to complete your order to an exquisite final finish.


Your window board sill will arrive with a full round on one leading edge and square edge back, but as with any of our solid wood items for sale we can cater to any need. If you require a 3-sided round please let us know and we'd be happy to provide that for you after you order.

Please note that oak is a natural product and as such no two pieces are the same. They can differ in the amount of character they have in terms of knots and swirls. We do however, select our best oak so that you are happy with your purchase and receive excellent value for money. Some sap may be present, but we always ensure that there is one good face so that visible sap is kept to a minimum, if at all.


PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed that require treatment options other than "untreated" will typically require an extra 2 days delivery time. This is to allow for coating, drying and re-applying of any treatment used. Window boards over 225mm may be joined due to the width. We can on occasions make wider window boards out of one piece of oak. Please email us if you require the window board in one piece rather than joined.
