For sale this very nice Super rare classic iconic Seiko Pogue series, the rarest Aquamarine dial color Seiko Pogue series. Fully original, not aftermarket parts on this watch, all parts, pieces are fully original Seiko, from this watch, from 70s. The Seiko chronograph 6139 6002, was the first automatic chronograph used in the space, on a space mission in November 1973 by the coronel William R. POGUE, and in that reason this watch become an iconic watch, well appreciated by collectors. Based on this iconic watch Seiko launched additional editions as: 6139 6002 blue, black, silvered white, yellow and other, but the Aquamarine dial color (with changing color visual effect), is the super rare edition, extremely hard to find. It is well appreciated by advanced Seiko "Pogue" collectors. The Pepsi bezel is in incredible excellent condition. This watch has been made in the 1970s, exactly on June 1972. This watch is in very nice very good condition, very hard to find in this beautiful very good condition. Not aftermarket pieces on this watch. All pieces are fully original, original Seiko. Excellent working condition, it has been fully professionally serviced recently by master watchmakers. All pictures are fully original, never retouched as part of as better description process.
FUNCTIONS: Hour, minutes, 1/5 seconds divisions, day and date, 30-minute recorder, inner revolving bezel, external tachometric scale, automatic, Waterresistant (Not guaranteed. This is a vintage watch).
DIAL: Authentic and original Seiko Pogue dial. It is a super rare greenish AQUAMARINE dial in good condition, never retouched, refinished, repainted, or replaced it is fully original, untouched. This dial is color changing by special iridescent metallic visual effect. This dial has someone’s faults on the lacquered between 10 to 11 and at 1. The lacquered has faults on those dots, but it is upper, and the color changed on that dots. Dial is "SEIKO", "5 Sports", "Speed-Timer", Suwa symbol, "Japan 6139 -6090T" (super rare Seiko dial reference) marked. Day and date at 3 (Kanji/English languages for days), quick setting for days and dates by pushing two steps the crown at 3. Inner revolving bezel through the crown, this inner bezel has special scale numbers for decompression diving time control purposes. Original white baton hands with original luminous material. Original white baton hour markers with original luminous material. 30-minute recorder at 6. 1/5 seconds divisions on outer dial. Greenish Aquamarine dial is super rare for Seiko 6139 6002 model. This dial is fully original, not aftermarket. Hard to find. Original thick crystal in excellent condition. External two tone: dark blue and red bezel with numbers for tachymeter function. This bezel is Beautiful; it is in excellent condition. Incredible, Hard to find in this condition considering this watch has been made in 1972. This bezel is original, not aftermarket of course.
CASE: Authentic and original Seiko 6139 6002 chronograph case. It is a tonneau shaped case made of fine and solid stainless steel. Hermetic screwed down back case made of fine and solid stainless steel too. On external side it is "SEIKO", Suwa symbol, "Stainless steel", "6139 - 6002", "water resistant", "260354", "Japan J" marked. Case measurements: 41,26 mm X 37,98 mm without crown. Lug to lug: 46,70 mm. Never polished case. All original edges are present, visible and are in very good sharp condition. Original crown, original round pushers.
MOVEMENT: Authentic and original Seiko Pogue chronograph movement, it is a mechanical movement with an automatic winding system. Movement is "Seiko", "seventeen 17 jewels", "Japan", "6139B" marked. This movement is in shining condition, it has been fully professionally serviced by master watchmakers recently, excellent working condition.
STRAP: Beautiful new band made of genuine natural leather.
