8.75 INCHES TALL, string binding, AND HAS EIGHT PAGES INCLUDING THE COVERS.
Remnants of a scrapbook page on the back cover, signatures of fellow passengers inside the back cover, otherwise a clean item from 1949. Menu and the person's name who this menu belonged to written by hand by the preparer of the menu.

1939 12 04. Launched.
Delivered 7 March 1940 to Rederi Ab Nordstjernan, Stockholm.
1943 01. Was ECUADOR together with the sister ship BRASIL and SVEA JARL when these ships were mined west of Stavanger in Norway. ECUADOR put two lifeboats in the lake to carry the crew on these two vessels, but one was lost with another mate and six seamen, due to the hard weather prevailing on the site.
1956 02 28. Went the ship on a sand bank between Terschelling and Vlissingen. The reason was the lane between the lottery and the helmsman. The vessel and the cargo whose value together was approximately SEK 25 million went to waste. Despite many attempts to escape, she stayed there. Slowly she broke and at a December storm the same year the ship disappeared completely below sea level.
